Loss of an Icon: Elizabeth Taylor 1932-2011

On March 23, 2011, we lost an icon.  On this day, Elizabeth Taylor passed away of heart failure.  So in this blog, I choose to honor her.  I could never get an avatar to show the beauty she had, but I simply wished to remember the style and send a thought out to her.  You will be missed.  RIP Liz, a beauty that will forever be remembered and never be duplicated.

The blood which flows through my veins ...

Ah, the vampire's kiss. Vampires have been around for ages, the fetish has possibly been around longer. They have been portrayed, mostly, as elegant and romantic creatures. It makes me wonder how many true vampires people have met.

From Wikipedia:

Blood Fetishism or Hematolagnia may refer to

1. Sexual interest or paraphillia for blood in clinical vampirism or with BDSM or Vampire lifestyles.

2. Belief within a society or culture that blood in itself possesses powerful and magical properties.

I was lucky to find a willing subject in Nae Gomez, who also made these fantastic images and first delivered them to the public here.
